There are so many ways to start your seeds off, from direct
sowing to using trays or cells; what compost to use; timing of
sowing; cover or not; pot on, prick out . . . Come and 􀈦nd out
what works well and enjoy a year of happy seedlings!

Perennial vegetables

Perennial vegetables have many advantages for you and the
planet! They need less maintenance and are more resilient to
extreme weather. In this talk we will look at the range of
perennials available and their attributes compared to annuals,
as well as sharing advice on how to grow them well.

Animal-free organic growing (veganic gardening)
Maintaining soil fertility is a key feature to ensuring your
plants have all they need to grow well. Can this be done
without animal and chemical fertilisers? This talk will explain
how it is possible. If time allows, we can also explore the
differences between organic and non-organic seed.

​We aim to Live stream most Talks with options to choose tickets for the Live meeting or for the Talk Online via Zoom

 Doors will Open at 6.45pm prior to the start of the Talk at 7pm and the  meetings will finish at 9pm.
