Our Next Meeting:
Our next meeting on Thursday, 23rd March 2017
Welcome return at short notice a Talk by Maggi Brown:
"Caring for your organic garden - Companion planting, Deficiencies, and Natural Remedies"
We are delighted to welcome Maggi back after her lively visit in November when she discussed Fruit Growing with us. This time she has offered to include in the session a short Q & A if people want to bring along sample cuttings of their smitten plants - spotted leaves, ravaged seedlings, etc.
For those new to Maggi, she has experience in all aspects of organic horticulture and has written for a wide range of publications. Formerly Head of Education and Senior Advisor with Garden Organic, she is now a regular lecturer at Pershore College as well as a horticulture tutor for an international correspondence college. She has a keen interest in talking about successful composting, organic management of gardens, overcoming pest and disease problems and choosing plants to attract beneficial creatures.
STOP PRESS at our AGM in February it was agreed to increase admission charges. See Programme 2016-17 for details.
